ABOUT ME

I’m still very new to this and jumped in with all fours! Then I only read the ‘Getting Started’, and realized I should introduce myself.

My name is Mari, and I live in South Africa. To be more exact – in the Mpumalanga Province – which is in the northeast of the country. For those who have visited our beautiful country, we live not very far from the Kruger National Park.

I am the mother of two sons and grandmother of one adorable 2-year-old boy. (The photos my younger son sends me is not suitable to post here!)

This photo was specially taken for Granny & Gramps

It is just sad that they live very far from us. They live in the Western Cape, which is where you’ll find Table mountain.

My husband, Kobie and I live in a little piece of paradise on the edge of the Olifants (Elephant) river. There are 15 cottages in the complex, and the closest village is about 30 minutes away.  There are Nyalas roaming the grounds, and I’ll also post some images of other regular visitors we have. We also have three doggies. I’ll introduce you to two of them – the third one hates being photographed almost as much as I do!

And there you have it all.

It is obvious that I have a lot to learn, especially when it comes to adding media. I will have to study the manuals, because I just can’t get them to go where I want them:)
